October 15, 2018
Duration of the Course
The Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences is a public University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The University is one of the most interesting and dynamic job markets for architects in Germany and its 10,000 students are drawn from about 100 nations across the world.
The two years’ Masters program, “Advanced Architecture – from Urban Design to Building Construction”, equips the students with a broad knowledge of urban design and construction. By intensively studying several contexts from a global, diversity-oriented and multicultural point of view, students develop an ability to translate any abstract design into concrete implementations of material and construction.
Students are encouraged to get involved in ongoing research projects in order to learn and develop scientific work through application-oriented research in the field of design and construction, or they can accompany the actual implementation of concepts in practice. They are trained to combine professional, practical, technical, economic, ecological, and social aspects while at the same time taking the varied cultural, historical, and climatic situations into consideration.
With the successful completion of the course, students will have acquired 120 ECTS credits and will be awarded the academic degree of Master of Science (M.Sc.).
