Program Details

The Business Department at Hof University of Applied Sciences invites applications for the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Global Management. 

The Global Management programme will thoroughly prepare you for demanding managerial tasks in international companies. With practice-oriented training, you will become knowledgeable in all internationally relevant management areas on an advanced level. Internationally experienced professors with many years of managerial experience will share their knowledge with you.

During the first and second semesters, the course covers:

  • Market Research
  • International Human Resources Management
  • Finance & Accounting in a Multinational Business
  • Global Business Strategy
  • Global Branding
  • Global Sales & Key Account Management
  • Operational Excellence & Innovation Management
  • Digital Economics
  • Economic Framework & Global Governance

The third semester is devoted to the Master’s thesis in cooperation with a multinational company.

The program prepares students for taking over sophisticated specialist and management responsibilities within international companies. Major fields of study focus on the elaboration and practice-oriented application of, amongst others, international sales concepts, international competitive strategies or efficient global value chain concepts.

Eligibility/ Requirements

A business-related Bachelor’s degree with at least 210 credits according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and a final grade rated “good” (please provide a diploma supplement or similar documents that explain the grading system of your university/country). We offer appropriate additional modules at Hof University for applicants with less than 210 ECTS.
Applicants with less than 210 credits have to gain the missing credits. For both alternatives, please calculate a fourth (extra) semester:
The student can do an internship (at least 20 weeks) as long as no internship was done during the Bachelor’s degree.
For applicants who already did an internship, we offer appropriate modules at Hof University that the student can attend.

Language requirements: Applicants must be proficient in English. In addition: Basic language skills in German, proven by official test score documents – minimum level A1 according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Application Process

If you have acquired your university entrance certificate abroad, it has to be assessed by uni-assist before you send it to Hof University. We advise you to send your documents to uni-assist at least four weeks before the application deadline at Hof University.
